Iāve placed an action Go to page , instead of Animate
And still clicking on hashtag action works , and event is triggered.
Not sure about filter, but it may be a wrong expression provided which does not trigger the action.
Try remove the filter and simply provide the hashtags directly from database as in our demo - https://zeroqode-demo-06.bubbleapps.io/version-test/rte
As for issue, Iām asking kindly to provide exact setup , and steps to reproduce the issue

Hi @Dumitru the issue is still happening. I changed the source to the below and am trying to click the hashtag within the editor and it is not working.
@Dumitru I found the issue. It doesnāt work in Read Only Mode, only in edit mode. Can you make it so it works in read only? I want end users who cannot edit to be able to click hashtags still
Iām afraid it is not possible for read-only propriety to make it, as the name suggests that this feature will put the element in Read Only mode.

Iāve gone through the demo and also considered Levonās comment.
I would like the RTE to display the content of the database upon page load and then to display the edited text as I edit the RTE text.
I find that this is not possible because the RTE just displays the original content despite many different attempts to make it work.
Iāve done the following:

Please guide me so that the RTE shows the edited text when I make edits when starting from displayed initial content in the RTE.

Please be informed that in order to save your edited text on the page you need to create an Event āA QZ Lite RTE Stop Typingā, then create an Action āMake changes to thingā and fill the gaps with the names of fields from the Database where you want to do changes (in our screen ātest_rte_03ā).
This is enough to keep your edited text on the page and save changes in the Database.
So please let me know if the desired result youāll get.

I have done as you asked in my workflow but have found that the stop typing workflow does not allow me to save the edited text.
Instead, it keeps on reverted to the initial content.

Furthermore, the cursor keeps jumping to the beginning of the text after each save, which is very, very inconvenient, especially since this is a document editing app.

Due to the fact that we have some additional questions regarding your settings, can you please add our Support Team email to the list of collaborators to your application and provide me a link to your application? This will allow us to check your settings and run some tests to fix the mentioned problem.
To add our Support Team as a collaborator, you need to do the following steps in the Bubble Editor:
Settings > Collaboration > Add email support@zeroqode.com
Note: avoid the warning message regarding the plan, as we are an agency and you can easily add us to your collaborators.

I have 2 ZQRTE on the index page (which is where production is), because Iāve gone to the unhappy solution on getting one to show the initial text which I will then copy and paste to the 2nd because I couldnāt get the initial content solution to work.
I also have the download_for_ZQ page, where you will also see the behavior I mentioned in my previous post.

PS - can the RTE editor be hidden so that the height collapses when it is hidden? I have a hidden RTE but it doesnāt collapse.

Usually, we donāt provide a customization example for the userās use case, but we would like to make an exception for you. Of course, I didnāt change anything on your pages, Iāve just created a clon and tried to recreate the working version of your case.
So you can go to the page ācln_download_for_zq_suppoā and check all changes.
Custom State āInitialContentā was created by me.
Please apply these steps to your page and let me know if you get the expected result!
P.S. To hide RTE on the loading page you need just uncheck this field and create the Conditional when you want this RTE has to be visible.

I rebuilt the page in zerocode_rebuild exactly as specified.
This is my set up:
I have found that when I try to edit the initial content, the initial content cannot be changed. (This is what I found in my previous set up as well because I tried to follow @levonās comment on the RTE that suggested we load initial content through a workflow and a state.
I am aware of the option to make read only.
However, what I am referring to the ability to hide it and then have the groups below push up. In my index page, I have a ZQ RTE that when hidden doesnāt allow the groups below to go up as well.
Would you like me to send you a video of the initial content? It seems that the forum does not accept media or movie files. I have 2 videos for both the index and the zerocode_rebuild as well showing that the initial content - even when created this way - does not accept edits.

Please find my test page called āzq_test_rteā in your app. there you can find the setup suggested by Levon (for displaying the data from the database as initial content, via the custom state) and my latest suggestion for saving the edited data, using the āZQ RTE Stop Typing/Text Changedā.
Iām sorry, but it is not very clear what are you going to achieve with our plugin by this. Anyways, it seems like the use case you have is not concerned with the way the plugin can be used, but how to display/hide groups where the plugin element is placed, and the setup of the referring conditions. Iām afraid, I do not have the necessary competence for providing such a custom development service. Apologies for this.
In order to make the āinitial contentā value be editable and savable into the database of yours, please check the test page āzq_test_rteā I have created in your app. You can use it as a workable example of the plugin setup, that you can use on your other pages.

Iāve noticed that the cursor goes back to the start of the text when editing and causes great inconvenience when editing. This also happens when switching between using the mouse to choose some of the menu options while editing and then trying to resume typing. (i.e. an example would be using the mouse to highlight a selection and then trying to type or edit afterwards).
Can this be addressed, since it is such an inconvenience when editing a document?
