Advanced Audio Player -- Launch a audio track with a workflow

Hi,

I just bought Advanced Audio Player to launch a song in a Landing page when the Audio is ready (and because couldn’t make it work with other options/tools). I set up the workflow with no advanced settings like “only when” (just Audioplayer A Ready to Play > play Audioplayer A - see screenshot) But it’s not working, the song doesn’t start. What happens eventually is when you refresh, it works (…).

Please note, the audio file has been downloaded, so no external URL link or others to consider.

How can I fix this please?

Hello, @Pirathle89
Thanks for the question.

I would like to suggest you another solution for your scenario. Please find the instruction below:

  1. On the Page is loaded event for your Landing page, please add Add a pause before next action:
  2. After this action, you need to use Play Audiolayer A action, using the required element:

These steps will allow you to play a song immediately after the current page has fully loaded.

Please test in on your side and let me know about your result.
Best regards,

Hi @Ecaterina ,

Thank you for the support.

The proposed solution is not working – even with a different timing (like 3 or 5 s). I will keep the Workflow set up so you can see and test the Landing Page here: [https://moser.bubbleapps.io/](https://App Live (Landing))

The only way I could make it work is when there is an action from the user (like clicking or scrolling (with a Workflow) or refreshing (for the Page loaded)).

All the best,

Hello, @Pirathle89
Thanks for the provided page.

I need to note that on our side, the proposed solution is working just fine. It means that there are some settings that influence this plugin’s behavior.
In order to check it, can you please add our Support Team email to the list of collaborators to your application and provide me a link to your application? This will allow me to check your settings and run some tests to fix the mentioned problem.

To add our Support Team as a collaborator, you need to do the following steps in the Bubble Editor:

Settings > Collaboration > Add email support@zeroqode.com

Note: avoid the warning message regarding the plan, as we are an agency and you can easily add us to your collaborators.

Looking to hear you soon.
Regards,

Thank you for the tight support, the Support Team has been added. :grinning:

First of all, I need to mention that the error, which you can find in your development console, is related to some Autoplay Policy in Chrome (and other browsers):

Even with some possible workarounds, which our team tried within your application (like custom scripts), Autoplay is not working.
The only possible solution is to set Autoplay on Click\ on Hover on the page.

Unfortunately, it is the only possible solution for this case.

Sorry for this inconvenience.
Best regards,

Hi Ecaterina, thank you for the feedback and the work provided for trying workarounds. I’m disappointed by the impacts on my App of the “Google Chrome AutoPlay policy” change and will have it in mind for further development. All the best,

@Pirathle89

I need to note that not only your application is affected by this policy, but anyone’s app, who is trying to add Autoplay on the page load.
On our side, it doesn’t work too. I missed the fact that we had the same workaround that I proposed to you.

Moreover, our Development Team confirmed, that it is not possible right now.
In case I can help you with anything else- let me know.

Best regards,
