Hello @nocode.paulg,

Thank you for making the effort to document the issue with a Loom video. Unfortunately, I’m unable to view the full video as it appears only as a GIF. Could you please share the link to the Loom video separately?

Looking forward to your response so we can address this effectively.

Thank you very much

Hello @nocode.paulg,

To ensure that the time zone is saved correctly, please follow the setup shown in the screenshot:

So, the timezone offset seconds should not be added as it was done on the demo page because the plugin handles timezones better on its own. The event dates will be saved in the database with the new time zone, ensuring they are always displayed correctly on the page.

By doing this, the events will retain the correct time zone information when saved and will display accurately on the page in different time zones.

About a recursing error in the console as mentioned in your video: please try this setup with the previous version of the plugin before the update. If this resolves the issue, we consider reverting the plugin to its earlier state.(when “Owner’s timezone” was a dropdown, not dynamic)

Please let us know if this helps, we couldn’t try this setup in your app because we don’t have access anymore.

Best regards,
Daniel.

Hey Daniel,

hope you´re doing great.
I tried it another time but there is an old/new problem now. Hope you can help me with that.

Hi Paul @nocode.paulg,

I hope you’re doing great too.

Our devs tried replicating the issue on this test page: Seanhootsdemopro | Bubble Editor and everything works fine on our end.

The problem you’re experiencing is most likely related to how new events are being saved to the database. Please try adding new events with the offset value. However, when modifying existing events, it should be done without the offset.

If the issue persists, you can grant us access to your app (now we don’t have it), and we’ll take a closer look to help you fix it.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Daniel

Hey Daniel,

I tried but couldn’t get it to work. It would be great if you could set it up for me on the index_test_kalender page and then tell me how you did it so that I can understand it and add it to the index page myself.

I have now given you access again.

best regards,
Paul

Hi Paul @nocode.paulg,

Our devs have fixed the issue on your test page. Here are the steps they took:

  1. In the “Popup - Add task - Overview” element, they changed “Date end” and “Date start” to show the time in the selected timezone:
  2. On the “Add task” button click, they added the offset when the events are added to the database:

Please check the changes on the index_test_kalender page and let me know if you have any questions. I have checked and now it works as expected. You can now replicate these steps on your index page. I hope this helps!

Best Regards,
Daniel

Now everything is working perfect, thank you  Great support :+1:t3:

Have a nice day
