Android & iOS Native Share

Dear Zeroqode Team!

I am having some trouble with the Android & iOS Native Share plugin. It works fine with iOS mobile Safari and Android mobile Chrome. But it doesn’t work when I try to use this plugin in a “native” Android app build using Jasonelle.

The screenshot of the error is attached to the message. Could you, please, clarify how to handle the problem?

Best,
Dima

Hello, @zifiry
Thanks for reaching out

As you have mentioned, the issue was related to the plugin behavior in the application, converted into the native with the Jasonelle solution.
However, please allow me to highlight that all our products (both templates and plugins) are web products firstly, so they work properly in web applications. There is no guarantee that any plugin will work in the native application ( especially with foreign services).

For this reason, the strange behavior of the plugin on some devices could be reproduced by incompatibility.
Also, I’ve tested this plugin with our Native wrapper, and it works properly for iOS, but there are some issues for Android ( however, in our native service there is a feature of the native share, which works properly).

Please note that our team released the Air Native service, using which you can convert your application into the native. This solution allows you to use the Native plugin, which will help you boost the native experience of your Bubble app, so it feels as close to an Android and iOS app as possible.

The Air Native Plugin allows you to implement the native features within your Bubble editor, so any plugin will work properly in your app.

Sorry for this inconvenience.
Best regards,

Is that possible share an image and have instagram feed or storie suggested by native phone bar?

Hello, @carlaogenteboa
Thanks for reaching out.

Please note that the list of the applications, where the images from this plugin could be shared, is regulated not by the plugin initially.
This image is considered by Instagram not as an image, but as a link to the image, so could not be posted in a Feed or Stories.

Thus, unfortunately, there is no possibility to create the exact functionality you need.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,

would be a nice feature, if on click an image, popup native applications that handle images, too.

Hello, @carlaogenteboa

Can you please provide us with more details regarding this request?
Where exactly should be placed the image, and how you are planning to use it?

Looking to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
