Animated Starry Background CSS Tools

Hi, I am trying to implement this with CSS: https://codepen.io/saransh/pen/BKJun/

It’s a parallax moving stars background, but after I add the CSS on load and put ‘#stars #stars2 #stars3’ in an HTML element, it’s only showing that as text instead of any stars.

Do you know what I’m doing wrong?
