Any Map plugins support custom tile layers?

Hey guys,

Looking for any map plugin that supports custom tile layers for dynamic weather overlays.
Need a method to specify a tile server URL pattern with {z}, {x}, and {y} placeholders, so the plugin can render them as an overlay on top of the basemap.

Anything out there?

Regarding your questions, you might consider two Zeroqode plugins for your use case:

The first is Mapbox Maps, which is one of the strongest mapping tools on Bubble. It offers several useful features, including the ability to use custom tiles. You can design these in Mapbox Studio and then add them to your Bubble app using the “Set Style” action.

Another plugin you might find useful is Leafy Maps, which also supports custom tile layers. Additionally, Leafy Maps includes weather map layers from the OpenWeatherMap API itself.

Thanks for the reply!

I’m trying to use Mapbox Maps but when I use the custom style, it refuses to use the selected projection method (switching from globe to mercator). all other style settings seem to work fine so far.

I’ve looked into your request, and the custom styles appear to be working fine on our end. For example, you can visit our demo page, select styles → custom, and see a custom layer created in Mapbox Studio applied.

To better understand the issue you’re experiencing, could you please share screenshots and a screencast showing exactly how you set up the element and workflow, the problem you’re encountering, and the expected result? Also, please let me know how you obtained the layer in the custom style.
