Is there any way to add a workflow to the Apple/Google pay button?
I need to trigger a popup so a user can either login or register prior to the wallet triggering.

Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend. 
No, unfortunately, it’s not possible. However, you can easily resolve this by hiding the Apple/Google pay button when the current user is not logged in. Instead, you can display another button that triggers a popup for user registration.
