Hello @bbela,
I am good, thank you, I hope you are doing well too.
Thank you for reaching out and for purchasing the plugin. Regarding the issue with the Apple Pay button not showing on iOS devices, it’s important to note from the documentation that Apple Pay is supported exclusively by the Safari browser on Apple devices. Similarly, Google Pay is supported only by the Chrome browser on supported devices.
The Apple & Google Pay Plugin is designed to display the payment button that is appropriate for the user’s device and browser combination. This means that on an iPhone, the Apple Pay button should appear when the user is accessing your app through Safari, as that’s the supported browser for Apple Pay. On the other hand, the Google Pay button should appear in the Chrome browser on supported devices.
If the Apple Pay button is not showing up in Safari on an iPhone 14, please ensure that:
- You are accessing the app through the Safari browser.
- Apple Pay is set up correctly on the user’s device with a valid payment method.
- The domain has been verified and is configured correctly for Apple Pay.
- Your implementation aligns with the steps outlined in the plugin documentation.
If these conditions are met and the button still doesn’t appear, it could be due to a specific issue with the setup or a limitation within the PWA context. I would be happy to take a closer look at your implementation to help resolve this issue.
Please let me know if there’s any further information you can provide or if there are specific areas where you’d like assistance.
Thank you very much, and I look forward to assisting you further.
Best regards,
Daniel.
