Apple In-App purchases for renewing subscription

Hello
It regards the Air Native plugin.
I’m trying to setup a renewing subscription with an Apple in-app purchase.
I cannot find any references to how this could be performed.
It starts from the App Store Connect selection for in-app purchases, which doesn’t allow to create a recurring subscription.

Documentation is non-existent.

Cheers

Paolo

Hi @floripaolo,
Thank you for reaching out.

We have recently updated the Air Native documentation with detailed information for the In-app Purchases. Please follow the link below and let me know if you require any further information: https://docs.zeroqode.com/plugins/air-native-plugin/setup-guide#in-app-purchases

Best regards,

Thank you @Igor

“Once per app launch” means the workflow is not linked to a purchase button? Should it be linked to the page load workflow?

Apple in app video

I’v tried to link the whole process to a temporary “Apple purchase” button.
I’m also not sure how to separate the 3 processes:

  • Browser (Stripe)
  • Apple
  • Android

Also:
Although iOS is set, it shows an error message concerning the missing Android package name.

Thanks for help

Hello @Igor

I tried to follow your documentation, which is, I must regretfully admit, very poor.
I even tried to ask for help to one of the Bubble Coaches and a recent guests in one of your webinars about native apps (Petter). But he says the plugin is very new and he’s not up to speed…
I also tried to find some infos in Bubbles and Zeroqodes forums. But nothing; no chance to find some useful information on how to solve this fairly basic problem.

Can you please give me some advice on how to solve this issue? Is there somebody (maybe a coach) that your are aware of, that can help?

But furthermore: wouldn’t it be obvious to produce a useful documentation for your products?
I am willing to write it for you, if you give me the proper instructions on how to use the plugin.

Hi @floripaolo,
Thank you for your detailed message, and sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.

Yes, this event has to be linked to the page load workflow, when the user opens your app.

Sorry for this issue, we will fix this in the next update, for now, please insert a random text, the field will be ignored anyway. The error should disappear if you type a random test name.

Regarding the documentation, we are constantly working on it to fulfill with additional information. As well as I mentioned before, we will update the plugin, this will resolve these issues you are getting with unnecessary fields.
Thank you for understanding.

If you require any further information, feel free to contact me.
Best regards,

Hello @Igor @kate @Kirill @Ecaterina @Serg

Thanks for the reply but it didn’t solve my problem. I would like to know how the workflows need to be set up. This is the last important setting I need in order to finish this app.
I really hope that in the future you will provide a more useful documentation, because until now she is useless. Do I have to wait till she gets updated in order to finish this project?
Do you have another suggestion? Do you know someone that can help me (paid…)?

thanks

Paolo

PS: I created all Google/Apple accounts with its corresponding recurring subscriptions, I only need to implement everything on Bubble.

Hi @floripaolo,
We are sorry that our documentation was not helpful for you.

Usually, we don’t provide complete step-by-step guidance in configuring any features in the user’s app, since it is beyond our responsibilities. The creation of a certain function by a user assumes that the user has sufficient skills to do so.
However, as an exception, please find below the screenshots of the settings you need to implement:

  1. Use “Fetch Products” instead of Fetch Subscriptions ( on ios this action is the same )

2
3.

4.

5.

6.

I hope the above will be useful to you.
Please try my suggestions and let me know if they helped.
Best regards,

Thanks @Igor

I tried to follow your indications, but it still doesn’t work. I added the plugin to the header page (under settings/subscription I added a test button for one subscription). Fetching and Getting is when you open the subscription page)

Here’s the video of my setup:

In your documentation on the Process Purchase step there is a discrepancy to what you’re indicating:

and there is no subscription option in my Request Purchase:

Cheers
