Audio Plugin used for streaming files and tracking data?

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to see if the audio plugin that allows users to stream MP3 files can be used to stream files uploaded by other users and then if I can track the listen time and send it onto the user in their dashboard?

Thanks in advance for any help.

User journey would be:
Artist uploads song MP3 / WAV file - sends song to curator - curator listens to their song - the length of time the curator listened to the song is added to a data sheet and displayed on the dashboard of artist - ideally data can then be exported to csv.
