Audio Recorder plugin from Zeroqode is freezing the browser window

Hi all!

I am facing a problem with the Audio Recorder plugin from Zeroqode. I need to save 1h of audio recording (at least - medical consultation) and it is freezing the browser window with 5 minutes of recording. How can I fix it? Is there any way to fix that problem? I need to fix it fast!

When recording continuous, long audio streams (such as 1-hour sessions) in the browser memory (RAM), high memory consumption often occurs as the uncompressed audio data builds up. This can cause the browser thread to freeze or crash, especially on devices with limited resource allocation.

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Check Bitrate and Audio Quality Settings: Open the plugin properties in your Bubble editor and check if there are options to lower the audio bitrate or quality. Lowering the bitrate reduces memory usage during long recordings.
  • Inspect Browser Console Logs: Open your browser’s Developer Tools (F12 or right-click → Inspect → Console) during a test recording to check if any specific JavaScript memory limits or errors are being triggered.
