Audiorecorder output to be uploaded in background

Hello Everyone,

I am using an audio recorder plugin and need to record 10-15 mins of audio from users for the exam. It is working well so far.

The only improvement I want to make in my flows is to upload the audio output at the end in the background once the recording has been stopped. I don’t want users to be stuck on the same page.

Please suggest a solution.

Thanks
Saajan

Hello @saajanpruthi ,
Thank you for using our plugin, and sorry for the delayed reply.

The only improvement I want to make in my flows is to upload the audio output at the end in the background once the recording has been stopped. I don’t want users to be stuck on the same page.

You can achieve this functionality by setting up a workflow to upload the audio output in the background once the recording has stopped, you can ensure that users are not stuck on the same page.

If you are comfortable with Bubble, you can create an event that triggers the audio upload after the recording stops. This can be done using custom states or backend workflows to handle the upload process without interrupting the user experience.

If you need assistance with this customization, I recommend seeking help from a developer who is familiar with Bubble. They can help you set up the workflow to meet your requirements seamlessly.

I hope you’ve found this helpful. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello @Vasile, Thanks for your reply and details.

I don’t see an action that can trigger an audio upload. I believe there is only one event that starts uploading the audio file to bubble once the audio recorder is stopped using element action.

Here is a screenshot from my app. Hope it adds more context. I might be missing something as you said it’s possible.

I am allowed to post only one screenshot in this reply, otherwise, I can add more.

Thanks
Saajan

Kindly note that we provide general support and fix issues related to the default plugin configuration, and we don’t provide customization services at the Support Team.

If you are looking for a Bubble developer who can help you with custom integration, we recommend posting in the Help section.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Have a nice day! :sunny:

Thanks for your response, @Vasile. I don’t think I need a developer or customization. I managed a workaround with UX for this problem.
