"AWS" File upload - Any size plugin not working with Bubble default file uploader

Plugin version : 1.97.0

We are using an “AWS” File upload - Any size plugin in our existing Bubble project. It is working fine when we are not using the Bubble default file uploader with it. But when we are trying to use this plugin with Bubble file uploader then it is not working as expected. Means, we are facing the problem when we use Bubble file uploader and AWS File Uploader together. Below is the list of issues:

  1. It is not expanding its height automatically when we upload multiple files.
  2. It is also not reset after the file upload is finished. If we reset it, then it collapses and is not visible on the page. We need to refresh the whole page to see it again.

Hello, @hk1
Thanks for your question.

It will be really helpful if you will describe the reason for using 2 uploaders (our and from Bubble) together. Usually, it is used only one uploader, for example, AWS File Uploader, where you can save files not only in your AWS Bucket but in Bubble DataBase.

I’ve just tested this behavior on our side, and the File Uploader element is expanded according to the number of files:

Thus, I need to understand how exactly these 2 elements are linked between each other.

Our Development team is already working on this issue, so I will notify you once this will be fixed.

Also, I highly recommend you use the latest plugin version since the latest version includes some useful improvements.

Best regards,

Thanks for the quick reply.

We are using two uploader together (Bubble default & AWS File Uploader) because some of the document and private asset we are not going to upload on AWS.

The other thing is that, The file uploader expanding in your case because might not use bubble default uploader.

Some more information about the issue:

Our existing application use bubble older version. Means we are not using the latest version (responsive). All the UI element we have put in separate group as page design and layout. but some how it is not working correctly. When we deleted the group in which we have put bubble default uploader. AWS File Uploader working fine. So, I don’t understand what is the exact issue.

@hk1

Our File uploader element works fine with both old and new responsive engines.
In order to understand where exactly the issue could be, I need to understand how your elements are linked, what is the connection between them through workflow, and how exactly they can affect each other.
Unfortunately, I cannot understand this without more details and screenshots of your settings.

Probably, the group where your File Uploader is placed was the fixed borders, and the uploader is not able to stretch.

Also, as I mentioned, please upgrade your plugin’s version.

Looking to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,

Hello, @hk1
Thanks for recorded videos.

I need to point out that it is not possible with the default plugin settings. Moreover, we have never received complains about triggering workflow multiple times per file.

This leads me to believe that the root cause of the error in your settings.
Unfortunately, I can’t understand it from the recorded videos. Thus, can you please add our Support Team email to the list of collaborators to your application and provide me a link to your application? This will allow me to check your settings and run some tests to fix the mentioned problem.

To add our Support Team as a collaborator, you need to do the following steps in the Bubble Editor:

Settings > Collaboration > Add email support@zeroqode.com

Note: avoid the warning message regarding the plan, as we are an agency and you can easily add us to your collaborators.

Looking to hear you soon.
