I’ve started using the plugin after failing hugely to upload an xlsx file to an s3 bucket without it corrupting. Finally I’ve got something working (just have just gone with the plugin four weeks ago instead of avoiding it). Anyway, the tutorial is very ambiguous as to how to store the AWS keys and session token, and I want to store and access them securely (obviously). How do people store them, so that the file uploader can access them in a similar fashion to the screenshot (or is it just as safe/dangerous to put them directly in the file uploader settings, as in the demo app)?
Hi @kimbern,
Thanks a lot for reaching out to us and using our plugins
In our documentation (and screenshot you sent us), we save the keys in a custom state. The keys are returned from the “Create Temporary Credentials” action. If you have security concerns and want the most secure option, I recommend setting up the Beta Uploaders and actions. You can find the documentation for the Beta features by clicking here, and the demo editor for a demo page that shows how we set them up on our side!
Hope these details will help you make an informed decision!
If you have any difficulties or questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at any time. I’ll do my best to help you
Best regards
