Box.com plug in

Hi all, I’ve installed the box.com plug in. I’ve followed the steps and copied the demo editor. I can see the file uploading to my box.com…but I can’t find any documentation on then how to display that image in the bubble app.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Update - I’m now displaying images and can create a folder…but have no idea how to get the images just from that folder to display for that user…

Any help at all would be so greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance

We have two box.com plugins with a bit different functionality, please let me know which one you are using:

• Box.com Storage User (Oauth) - a version that allows your users to authenticate under their own box accounts and manage their Box from your app.
• Box.com App Storage (Service) - a service version that simply connects your app to your own Box account (Without the Oauth for users)

Your answer will allow me to provide a more precise answer from my side.

I’m using the Service one

@lisaalger, theoretically, to restrict the access to a file only to a certain user, you can use the:

• “Add shared link permission” action, to set a password, see supporting doc for guidance: https://developer.box.com/reference/put-files-id--add-shared-link/
  

  

• and “Get a Shared Box Item (w/password)” action, to access the file.
  

I would also recommend considering another plugin version ( Box.com Storage User (Oauth) which might be easier to configure for your case, as it gives the user access to his own box storage directly.
