Box plugin: 403 error after uploading a file with the Box plugin

Hello everyone,

I’m facing an issue with the connection between Bubble.io and Box.com using a plugin. We’re trying to connect our Bubble app to Box.com in order to access files and folders, but we keep getting a 403 error.

We’re using the plugin “Box.com App Storage (Service) Plugin for Bubble” to connect to Box.com. We’ve followed all the instructions and set up the API keys and tokens correctly, but the connection keeps failing with a 403 error.

We’ve checked our Box.com account settings and made sure that the API access is enabled. We’ve also tried different API keys and tokens, but we keep getting the same error.

We’ve contacted the plugin support team, but they haven’t been able to provide a solution yet. We’re hoping that someone in the community has faced a similar issue and can help us out.

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Side note: I’ve tried the native Bubble integration with Box and everything works fine. But this integration doesn’t allow you to remove file. You can only upload files.

See picture below for the error message:

Hello @django,
Thank you for using our plugins. I appreciate your message.

It would be very helpful if you could share the screenshots of your workflow setup. This will allow us to evaluate your setup, workflow steps, and configuration to better understand the issue with our plugin in your application. With this information, we can replicate the error message and investigate it with our development team.

To provide further guidance and workflow examples, we suggest that you review our plugin’s live demo page, which can be found at this link: zeroqode-demo-02 | Bubble Editor

Please refer to the attached screenshot:

I hope this information is helpful, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards,

Hi @Igor , thank you for your fast respons!

in the attachment is a screenshot of my setup. Nothing different than yours…?

On pageload the access token is loaded.

Hello @django,

Thank you for your response.
From the provided screenshot I can see that you use the action Box App (Service) - Upload a File when an input value is changed, and it is not clear to me if it is an input element or you renamed the FileUploader element name to Input and if it is located on the same page.
See the screenshot below.

To investigate the issue with our plugin inside your application, could you please include our Support Team email as a collaborator and share the link to your app with us? This will allow us to review your settings and replicate the error on our end to identify the problem. Additionally, please provide us with the name of the page, group, and workflows and step-by-step actions to reproduce the error on our side.

To add our Support Team as a collaborator, follow these steps in the Bubble Editor:
Settings > Collaboration > Add email support@zeroqode.com.

Please be aware that you may receive a warning message about the plan, but since Zeroqode is on an Agency plan, adding us as a collaborator should be straightforward.

We appreciate your time and eagerly await your response.

Best regards,
