First of all, thank you for creating the Input Formatter. I really appreciate your work.
I wanted to ask if this is a bug or if I’m using it incorrectly. When I changed the format from 4,4,4 to 3,3,3,5, the character limit was stuck to 12.

I’m glad to hear the input formatter plugin has been useful to you. After looking into the concern you mentioned, I noticed the same behavior on our end—specifically, when the total number of digits in the custom format changes, the plugin continues using the previous format.
I’ve forwarded this to our development team for further investigation, and I’ll inform you of any updates as soon as they become available.
