Bugs while using the Video Recorder Plugin

Hi guys,

We have been using the “Video Recorder” plugin to record 3-6 short videos on our application. However, users have been facing a few issues lately. I have listed them below.

  1. Given we have multiple instances of the plugin on the same page (eg: Video Recorder #1, Video Recorder #2, etc), we use multiple elements to record these videos. However, multiple users have complained that one works but the others don’t. We tried replicating this, but we were not able to - Do you know what might have caused this issue? Also, has anyone else reported such an issue before?.
  2. Other than the previous error, do you have any data on the plugin not working on a particular device, plugin, etc?

At the moment plugin seems to work well on our demo page and when setting up the plugin on a new page too, so far we haven’t had any complaints from our users not being able to record a video. It’s difficult to know what might have caused the issue, therefore I would suggest you provide us with the details of your setup(screenshots, video recordings, and workflows) so that we can investigate the issue and try to replicate your use case :slight_smile:

As for the data question, we do not have any data on the plugin not working on a particular device, but as far as our tests go, we have tested the plugins on multiple devices and operating systems and it has worked well so far.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Here is a link to our live editor. You can find the video recorder elements inside the “Group Video Recording” group.

Also, I wanted to confirm if you have tried implementing multiple video recorder elements on the same page? - In case you have, could you please let us know if you have faced any issues with this?

Unfortunately, we couldn’t test the video recorder on your page as there is a login needed. However, looking at your setup, there should not be any problems with the video recorder.

Yes, we have tried implementing multiple video recorder elements on the same page, at the moment we haven’t faced any issues with it, but the work of the plugin might also depend on the setup of the user. Here is the example of 3 video recorder elements used on the same page: Zeroqode-demo-23 | Bubble Editor.

At the moment, it is quite difficult for us to investigate the case without being able to reproduce the issue.
