Building an App Business

Hi there,
Warning: I know very little about how this all works.

If I’m looking to build an app, I’m a little concerned that all would be hosted and managed with Zeroqode…
If someone is to build a sustainable, long-term business, is there any way to move the app over so you have more control over it?
I wonder what successful app companies have done that first started out using Zeroqode…

Please inform.

Thank you.

Hello @michaelsvia

Zeroqode is leveraging technology created by Bubble to build no-code products. For example, our templates are built on Bubble, and when you buy a template, you receive the Bubble configuration and it is fully modifiable.
Our plugins for Bubble are extensions that handle complex API integrations, introduce advanced features into the logic of your app, or add visual effects to your design so your product stands out.
Bubble is an unique platform, that allows you to create almost anything that you require.
The hosting is located in Bubble cloud, you could read more here and see the pricing - https://bubble.is/pricing, which is a good thing too because for a price of a hosting you get a fully managed solution for building web applications without code.

Bubble hosts everything, and currently there is no option to ‘self-host.’
Essentially, you are purchasing your own domain name and ‘pointing’ it to the Bubble Servers (the same as you would if you had created your own server from scratch on any cloud provider), which runs your Bubble application.

As a starting point you can check our templates https://zeroqode.com to see if there is anything that fits your needs.

We’ve partnered and worked across different types of projects, here you can find a selection of our favorite projects, built for our clients: https://dev.zeroqode.com/portfolio
Also you could see a list of different successful stories across Bubble community here: https://bubble.io/showcase

For starters we do also have courses that may help you learn and master Bubble much faster. Please check it out here https://lab.zeroqode.com and moreover by using “zeroqode” promo code you will get 20% discount on your first 6 months of subscription.

Kind Regards,
Dumitru.

Thank you, Dumitru.
I responded via email, but it did not work.

Anyway, is there any way to migrate an app or site to my own server down the line if I had to?
What could be done if I had to do this?

Hi @michaelsvia

Thanks for checking back.
As I mentioned previously regarding the option to “self-host” web applications built on Bubble, I’m afraid Bubble currently does not offer such thing.
Sorry for not being helpful, here.
