Can Map Extender Avoid Obstructions?

Hey I was wondering if the map extender plugin allowed custom route options. I saw that it had stuff possible for like traffic. Would it be possible:

1. create routes based on sidewalks like in google maps
2. to have it add elements to a layer such as staircases, and then create a path that avoids as such.

If this is possible that would be very helpful!

yes, this is already possible, see the first screenshot from our plugin and the second from google docs (sidewalks are considered only where available)

this is not possible at the moment and sounds to complicated to implement
