Charging seller only

Hi, I am having some troubles with my account - stripe marketplace express. I want to charge the seller only when both buyer and seller confirm they have received the item. However, in order for me to do this I need to add the customers card details thus meaning that they will be charged.

It seems that within the workflow, I need to add an amount to generate an app fee. If I leave the app fee black, the automatic fee is £0.77 and I cannot change it. Please can anyone advise?

Hello @gloverstravels, thank you for your message, and thanks for using our plugin in your app
When using the Stripe Marketplace Express plugin inside your Bubble app it is possible to set an app fee that will be deducted from the amount paid by the buyer.
Therefore, you can calculate the amount you would like the seller to be charged and deduct that amount (by setting the app fee) from the final amount received by the same seller.

There is an automatic minimum fee charged when using the Stripe services, I would recommend you to check their documentation and read more about it from the link below - https://stripe.com/us/pricing

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Have a good day!

Hi there Greg,

so just to confirm, there would be no way to charge the seller without charging the buyer?

I am afraid the logic/functionality of the plugin is set to charge the buyer (the one who pays for the product) and not the one who is selling it.
Theoretically, it is possible to charge the seller, though it means that the seller will need to pay.

The setup of the workflows that will charge the seller after the confirmation is received from both side, unfortunately is not related to the plugin settings, but rather to the logic of you application. Thus, we are not quite skilled to advice on how you can achieve that inside your app.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank for your understanding on that
