I have been using the ChatGPT plugin, and I really like it.
However, I noticed that it hasn’t been updated in a while, and that it doesn’t support 4o, especially with the Assistants API V2 which has been out for a while now.
Are there any plans to include the latest version of the mode as an option in the free/paid plugin? Needing this urgently. Thanks!

I have just tried the full OpenAI ChatGPT-4 Plugin, and it seems to be using the Assistant API V1, and not V2. It’s returning an error via the API call saying that gpt-4o is only available for V2 while the plugin is using a V1 API call to create the assistant.
What am I missing?
FYI, here is the error text while tryig to run the create assistants workflow step from the FULL plugin:

By the way, OpenAI’s support for V1 assistants ends at the end of 2024, so all apps using the free/full plugins will stop working in a couple of months, unless updated to V2!

I checked with the dev team, and they confirmed that the Full OpenAI GPT-4 plugin Assitant currently supports V1. However, after the upcoming update, it will support V2.
We’re expecting the update to be released in a few days once we complete the testing phase. I’ll notify you as soon as it’s available.

At the moment this feature you are menationed available only in the paid version of the plugin.
Our developers are currently discussing the possibility of adding this feature to the free version as well.
As soon as this feature will be available in the free version, I will let you know.

I have taken a look at the full/paid plugin, and it seems to have less features than the free one.
One of the most important features for us is the ability to upload/delete files to the assistant, and according to the documentation of the paid plugin, that feature is not available. It is avilable for the free plugin.
We would love to use and pay for the full plugin, but if uploading assistant files is not an option, we can’t.
Can you please confirm if/when this will be added to the full/pain plugin, and if/when the free plugin would support OpenAI API V2?

I have looked at the plugin and demo page, and it does NOT look like either the free or paid plugin allow file uploads to the assistants anymore. In other words, the updated free plugin has now matched the updated paid plugin with significantly less features than the original free plugin.

Please let me kow if there are any plans to support file uploads for assistant V2 in the free and/or paid plugin. I feel that we’ve been going in circles around this for weeks, and we are currently considering creating our own plugin to use with OpenAI.
Can you please confirm with the dev team if there are any plans to have a fully featured free/paid plugin with OpenAI API V2 that supports assitants V2 with file uploads and retrieval? And if the answer is yes, what is the timeframe for the release?
We are happy to pay for your plugin, but it needs to be updated properly and with enough functionality from OpenAI API. Right now, it only has a fraction of those calls.
