Hi,
I’m trying to allow users to download a large file (JPG) at a smaller file size by compressing it.
I’m having no luck with the Compressor and Uploader Plugin and I don’t want to create a 2nd version of the file.
Any help would be great, thanks

I understand you’re encountering some challenges. Can you provide more details about what you need and how you plan to use the plugin? It would also be great to know if you’ve set up the element settings.
“I don’t want to create a 2nd version of the file.” - If your goal is to maintain only the compressed version of an image, you can certainly accomplish this. For example by overwriting it in the database as shown in the images below.
