Countable plugin help

Hi,

I am trying to use the countable plugin to count the words of a multiline input box that is populated with text from an API call. However the countable word count doesn’t update automatically, I need to manually press in to the input box and add a space or type something for it to update the word count

Is there any way I can get this to count the words of the multiline input without having to manually type in to the box?
