Crop Upload Image on the mobile

I have implemented in my application the Crop Upload Image Plugin and it works as expected. I tried it also on the mobile phone and the crop process is not effective at all. Question… has anyone used this Plugin on the touch screen … I tried it also on an IPad and the same experience. Is there anything that I can implement only for the smaller screens to improve the user experience?

  • A detailed description of your use case.
  • Screenshots and screencasts show how you’ve set up the workflow, the plugin elements configuration, the problem occurring, and what you were expecting instead. For recording screencasts, Loom is a great option.
  • Please provide the type of device and operating system version you’re testing on and the version of the plugin you have installed. If error messages appear during screencasts, please make sure your browser console is open and send us a link to your recording.
  • If the plugin has an update available, could you try installing it to see if it fixes the issue? If the problem persists, please send us the more details requested above.

Hi Mina,

Thanks for your response. Here are some configuration details: My bubble version is up to date (see below). The version of the Crop Update is 1.16.0. The Plug in works well with the mouse but on the mobile phone (Iphone 13 with iOS 17.6.1) the controls are very cumbersome. The touch screen requires different use of the cropping surface and is not clear for me how your team has configured them. Maybe if you share the recommendations I can use them in my product to instruct the users how to zoom, modify size, modify shape. I created a movie using the plugin on the phone. See below

Just tested the new version today and I get an error each time I use the crop. Rolling back to version 1.16 is not returning the error.

Have a look at the error and let me know if I should test anything else. I have tested on the laptop and the mobile phone and on each the new version is returning errors (see pictures)

Hi Mina,

Thanks so much for the update. I have tested the Crop on the Mobile phone and I don’t see the error anymore. Seems everything is working just fine. I have another question if you don’t mind. I have in one of the use of the Crop Input a situation when the image is not loaded in the main window. I have this particular case when I try to reload a different image. I tried to reset the values but is not fixing the problem. Is there a setting from the Crop Plugin that I can use to resolve this error?

Regarding the new issue you mentioned, I’ve tried to replicate it on our Demo Page but couldn’t reproduce the behavior. To assist you further, could you please share a Loom video of the issue with the debugger open? This will help us determine if the problem is related to your setup or something else.
