Date range: same start and end date? (Air Date/Time Picker Plugin)

Hi,

I’m using an Air Date/Time Picker input as a date range (Not showing time)

I want the start date and the end date to be the same date (e.g. both on 2021-09-26).

Is this somehow possible? If yes, how?
I have found no option in the settings, nor any insightful resource on how to do this. Currently, the earliest end date of the range I can choose is one day after the start date.

If I understood right your questions, the required functionality can be achieved through the “arbitrary date/time” specification.

Thanks for the reply! However, that’s not the functionality I was looking for.

I want the date range to function normally (so the user should be able to choose any two dates), just with the addition that the user can choose the same day for start date and end date.

Here is an example of such date range picker: Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software

Funnily enough, when clicking on “Insert date/time” here in the editor, you can actually choose a range that starts and ends on the same day:
[date=2021-09-27 timezone="Europe/Berlin"] → [date=2021-09-27 timezone="Europe/Berlin"]

So I think I’m probably missing something obvious :sweat_smile:

I’m afraid that the library used within the plugin doesn’t provide such functionality (to indicate the same day in two clicks as start date and end date). Sorry for the inconvenience :pray:

@Serg Is there plans to add the functionality to allow users to select the same day in two clicks? This would make the AirDate/Time Picker a more robust solution for other use cases.

Regretfully, adding this improvement may negatively influence other plugin features. Sorry about that. If anything will change in this regard, I will let you know first.
