Hello @marcusfarmer44,
Thanks for reaching out.
The “Drag & Drop to Reorder RG” plugin allows for intuitive drag-and-drop capabilities to reorder elements within a repeating group on Bubble, enhancing user interaction by making list manipulations easier and more visual. On the other hand, the “Sortable RG - Drag & Drop” plugin also offers drag-and-drop functionality for sorting elements within a repeating group but might include different features or implementation details.
For specifics about each plugin’s capabilities, functionality differences, and use cases, it’s best to refer directly to their respective demo pages and documentation.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Stephan
It looks like one of them allows for you to move items between repeating groups… while the other does not.
That seems to be the major difference
Hello @marcusfarmer44,
Hope you’re doing well.
Yes, you’re right, the possibility to drag and drop between repeating groups and making changes to the database is only available for the “Drag & Drop to Reorder RG”. However, the other one can copy the Reordered list to another RG.
In case you’re still uncertain about the plugin, you have the possibility to subscribe and test it out. And you’ll incur charges only for the days you use it, for a one-day plugin subscription, your charge would be the plugin’s fee divided by 31 ( ex: $5 / 31 = $0.16 day).
Therefore, if the plugin doesn’t suit your needs after a few days, you can simply uninstall it without incurring a significant cost.
If you have any other questions, please, let us know.
Wish you a great week ahead!
Stephan
