Eaty - Seller Stripe Error when adding menu items and categories in test

Hello,

I purchased the Eaty template and absolutely love it.

I’m trying to test a restaurant owner creating menu and categories in Eaty, however whenever I click the ‘Add meal’ or ‘Add category’ buttons in the admin dashboard, they get the following error:

’Please be advised

You should connect your stripe seller account first. Otherwise, customers won’t be able to see your restaurant.'

I have connected my Stripe account. How can I bypass this error message to add meals and categories, before putting live?

I see I can add all in App Data, however for the purpose of providing demo logins to my client, it doesn’t help.

Thanks in advance for your help

Chris

Hello, @chris8
Thanks for reaching out.

The process of connecting your Stripe to a new restaurant is the next (Previously, I created a new restaurant):

As you can see, immediately after adding the Stripe account, the warning message disappeared.

In case you just don’t want to show this pop-up to your future users, you can remove it (and conditions related to this pop-up).

Hope it will help you.
Best regards,

Thank you for sharing the above.

I have disabled the logic for the above buttons to work. However when I click the ‘Add Category’ button, it gives an empty page. How to fix?

Hello, @chris8
Thanks for these details.

Can you please check if in your DataBase there are any Categories?
After purchasing this template, some of the default information from the DB is gone, so you need to fill it as per your wish.
On our side, you can see these categories:

Please share the screenshots of your current DB and also, in case you have all the categories there, record a short video, where I can see how exactly you are performing these steps.

I am looking to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response.

I’d added a category already in the DB as per the below screenshots.

I’d have thought the front-end shouldn’t be dependant on db values to add / view / edit?

Thank you

Hello, @chris8

The front-end displays the categories that are recorded in the database. So, in order to be able find the categories as a restaurant owner, these categories should be introduced in DB.

Can you please let me know if you still can’t see any categories on your side?

I am looking to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,

Hello,

The DB value was created before I raised the above error, so still a blank screen with the above category not listed.

How can this be fixed?

Hey, @chris8

In order to investigate this case on your case, can you please add our Support Team to the list of your app collaborators?
Please go to Settings - Collaboration tab within your editor. Add our support@zeroqode.com account to your collaborator’s list. Also, please tell us your app name and page name where this problem occurs on test.

Note: avoid the warning message regarding plan, as we are an agency and you can easily add us to your collaborators.

We’ll investigate it inside your app and get back to you with a feedback asap.

Looking to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,

Thank you, I have added you to the collaborators list.

App name is Sunsetdeliveries and page is /restaurant/

Hello, @chris8
Thanks for adding me to your application.

I’ve just tested your application as a restaurant Owner, and I need to tell you that I haven’t encountered any issues. Please find this screen record below:

I’ve also created a new Restaurant (ZQ Test) and also was able to choose the category and add a new meal.
I would recommend you check your internet connection speed since I suppose, it is required a bit more time on your end to upload all the information to the page.

Please check my video and let me know if you can see all the categories on your end.
Best regards,

Thank you for the video. It’s fine in test but not in live. In live the categories don’t show and you can’t add, you get a blank screen.

Please change db to live and login as a restaurant user to see (chris@starsite.digital)

Hello, @chris8

I’ve tested your app once again ( in version live) and found the issue.
Please note that the Category group requires now only Categories in your DB, but enabled Tags.

On your Live Version, your tags weren’t enabled here:

Once I’ve set them to “Yes”, all categories appeared on the page:

Hope that helps you.
Best regards,
