Editable Data Table like Excel - documentation, configuration details

Had purchased a competitor’s product but ran into some errors and they’re not responding, trying this plugin and so far it appears promising.

Where’s the documentation for the plugin? The ‘show documentation’ hints are largely useless for many configuration items.

I see it’s been requested in the past to support sorting ('18, '21). Is this plugin be actively developed and supported still?

I have a text field (example data 123) that the plugin insists on treating as a date. Is there a manner to force the formatting of a column? If not, how do I stop this field from being treated as such?

Can we change column labels?

Can we pre-define the rendering width of each column?

I’m not clear on what the ‘values for autocomplete’ does.
Show search input field - what does this do? I tried a search from an action/workflow and it clears the table results.
Enable control panel?
Show clear filter button? I see no button, even on your demo.

I’ve figured out some of this playing around with it more. Control panel (+ for adding record), and search is working now. It wasn’t working because the date format messes with my text values which I was ‘searching’ against. The date format issue acting on the text values is the big issue at hand here. The rest I can live with.

can certain fields be set as read-only, whereas others allow editing?

We don’t have documentation for this plugin, with the exception of the plugin description here:

Also, there is a description for each field, which just explain each field’s functionality shortly.There is no detailed description only because each field is fairly straightforward and there is no need for additional settings.

Can you please elaborate more about your issue? I need to see how you created the field, you are searching for (which format you are using for your data).
Please send me screenshots with this data.

In Privacy Rules you can try to play around with conditions for different user types, so your table will not be available for some types of users. However, in case you are speaking about one line, where one column could be editable, but the second one - no, please note that it is not possible.
