I have installed and followed all the directions and I can only get the table with all the columns I specified to display. But I can not get the data to display in the columns. What I can say is there is the same amount of rows of all the data I am trying to output but the data just isn’t displayed.

Thanks for reporting.
Unfortunately, this issue is not reproducing on our side. We can successfully display data from DB.
Could you please make sure that you have completed all the settings that we provide on the plugin page here and your database is already filled up with data and there is something to display in the grid.
After that, could you please to double-check them, paying special attention to the settings in the tab Privacy (look for it in tab “Data”) so that all the necessary checkboxes are marked there
and then go to the settings of your grid in the Design tab and make sure that the names of the fields you want to display in the grid are the same as the field names in the Database and remember that they are case sensitive.
However, if you experience the same issue, please, share more details like:
describing what you’re trying to accomplish, the exact steps to reproduce this issue,
screenshots or screencast of your settings in tab Privacy(Data), API(Settings), of your table in Database and grid setting in Design module, will be super useful.
So we can try to replicate it on our side and see whether it is a plugin related issue or not. Then provide a better feedback to you asap.

Regarding your issue, if you still have problems with displaying data in the table, please make sure you set it up correctly - take a look at the settings of our demo page and compare with your application.
Otherwise, if you are sure that you have configured everything correctly, I ask you to send us screenshots of your settings in tab Privacy, API Settings, of your table in Database and grid’s setting.
