Error: Encode / Decode plugin

Hi,

The Encode / Decode plugin has stopped working. Can someone from Zeroqode please have a look at it asap. I get this error,

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the plugin is reproducing no issues on our side. Based on error, it seems to try reading a null property. Could you please describe the problem and what you are trying to achieve in details, also provide screenshots of your app, workflow and the moment when this error is triggered. So we better understand what the issue might be and try to get back with a solution asap.

Hi @alexandru,

Can you double check. I did not do anything. I have not touched anything to do with this plugin, it just stopped working today. Although I did upgrade to the new version of bubble (Version 6). I don’t know if it has something to do with that.

I use this plugin all over my forms and it has stopped working in all areas where I am using it.

To be clear I have not touched the production environment and it is also failing in production.

Can this be fixed asap.

PS: I have not updated Production environment to Bubble version 6. So it has to do with your end for sure.

Hi @alexandru,

I’ve managed to fix it. For some reason all the keys had been removed from all instances where the plugin was being used. Do you know why that is? After adding the keys again it works.

This seems to be occurring again but on mobile only,

Could you please confirm what the fix is - nothing has been changed and this is working on desktop normally…

Unfortunately, we can not reproduce or investigate this issue without more info. Can you please describe this case in more detail? First of all, please let us know which element you use for Encode\Decode?

Please attach all the necessary info like:

  • error screenshots from debugger and browser console;

  • the description of what you wanted to achieve and the actual result;

  • how to reproduce your issue ( which information you use, where it placed, detailed steps for reproducing the issue);

  • Do you use some keys in your application?;

Also, you can record the video in order to demonstrate your issue.
