Error google one tab plugin on pc

Good afternoon an error appears when using the plugin on my computer. Both on the test site https://zeroqode-demo-16.bubbleapps.io/one-tap-gsi?debug_mode=true and on mine.
On the phone trigger works only once. If you close the pop up and then try again to enter, then there is no pop up

I tried it on another computer. It shows immediately without pressing, but when I close it again, it does not open the popup. Or is the popup recall function not provided?

Hello @holydoly6, thank you for your message and sorry for the issues with the plugin

In order to further investigate the plugin functionality and particularly your use case we will need more details.

Please share with us details regarding your use case, let us know the steps you are following in order to reproduce the error. It will be great to have screenshots or a screencast with your setup.

Also, please let us know what mobile, desktop devices(operating systems) are you using to check the plugin’s functionality.

Once we get all the necessary details to test the use case on our side we can investigate the issues and help you sort it out!

Waiting for your reply :slightly_smiling_face:
Have a good day!

Hi @holydoly6, hope my message finds you well.

We managed to check with our Developers team regarding the behavior of the pop-up when using the plugin. It appears that on the Google Chrome browser, closing the pop-up action is remembered by the browser, thus the next time when accessed it will not display it. This behavior is quite strange, though there is nothing we can implement to overcome this behavior at the moment because of the fact this logic is dictated by Google.

I would best recommend you clear the cookies and cache on the website in order for the pop-up to appear on the website again. This is a workaround that can be used at the moment, as there is no technical solution that will do the trick.

Sorry for any inconvenience :pray:t3:
Have a great day!

Thank you for your reply. It turns out that Google believes that this is a one-time pop-up window that once closed will not pop up again, so as not to bother the user right?
I just had the idea of using this type of login so that it would be possible to save the cart when logging in without saving it in the cookie. Now would I have to use your other plugin with offline storage for this, or are there other techniques?

Hi @holydoly6,

Most probably the behaviour of the pop-up was set by Google in order to not bother the users the next time, once they closed it, it is a logical UX practice.

You can try to combine the two plugin and see if that is something that will work for your use case. Besides that I would also recommend you to leave a message on the Bubble forum as well, as there is a bigger community of developers on Bubble that might found a solution already.

Let me know if there is anything else we can assist you with
