Fuzzy Search not searching through rich text data fields?

Hi!

I notice that Fuzzy Search is not finding results in text fields if they contain rich text.

In this example, the Body field contains rich text.

I do get a result if I enter a search word which is one of the first words in this field.

This seems to work until the 5th word.

However as from the 6th word, it doesn’t seem to find any other words…

Is there a limitation for rich text?

Thanks for reaching out.

In order to provide you with a more precise answer, I need to receive the screenshots of your current settings for the Plugin Element and Repeating Group.
So, as I can see, the plugin works within your app. Thus, it is possible that you have some limitations or the data just couldn’t be loaded after using the specific word.

I am looking to receiving the details from you.
Best regards,

Thanks for your feedback.

Hello, @sampannemans
Thanks for the details.

We started the investigation of this issue and I need to note that the issue is not related to the RichText Editor (otherwise, you would not be able to find a single word).
The most possible reason for the issue - is the length of the text.

Our team will investigate it and I will revert to you with an update ASAP.

Thanks for your understanding.
Best regards,

Hello, @sampannemans
Thanks for your patience.

By this message, I need to note that we have investigated the behavior of the plugin with the big text and the root cause was found.
Please check the “Location” parameter and its description:

Exactly this parameter will help you to find the specific word in a big text.
Hope it will help you :slightly_smiling_face:
