Fuzzy search plugin not working consistently

I’m having an issue with the fuzzy search working consistently. The first time it works correctly. If I navigate to another page and then come back, it doesn’t work.

In the course of troubleshooting, it seems like the problem is that the RG is not getting the data because the Search and Autocorrect has the data but the RG says there isn’t any.

Any ideas on what to do? I have read the documentation also.

Thanks,
Jordan

Hello @jordan.robertson

Thanks for reaching out!

It seems that the issue might be related to the visibility settings of the group containing the search. Because the group does not initially appear on the page load, elements for the search function do not load properly.

Please try showing the input element when the button is clicked. Similarly, hide the “Search&Autocorrect” element on the page load and show it when the button is clicked that displays the group with search functionality.

Additionally, I noticed you are using “Search&Autocorrect’s A matches” as a data source in the repeating group. It’s recommended to use “Do a search for” as a data source instead. This will directly fetch the result and can contribute to smoother functionality. Also please set conditions in repeating group as in the screenshot: Screenshot by Lightshot

Please give it a try and let me know if it resolves the problem.
