Fuzzy search plugin - Why so slow?

Hi,

I’m using your plugin Fuzzy search and autocomplete to search on a list of variables. It was excellent as long as the list was of 500 items, but I now have to use it with something like 30 000 items and it doesn’t work at all. It just raise some performance issue warnings for the whole time! Why is this so long? Is there a way to make it work?

Hello, @carlo. Thanks for reaching out.

The main probable reason why you are facing the search speed decreasing is in the number of items you are searching for. 30 000 items is quite a challenge.
It may be a lack of server capacity of your app also. Or a slow device, on which you are running your app with the plugin.
