Gantt plugin requests

The Gantt plugin has huge potential, but some serious needless drawbacks.
Could you please look into fixing them?

• Either provide the “language settings” together with the plugin into bubble setting, or expose the language texts in the plugin as customizations.

• The milestone, project, task are hardcoded! Just add this to three fields that define the content. My application uses GOAL, MEASURE, TASK. Same thing…but not!

• Need access to more CSS settings. Sizes and colors of everything.

• Possibility to add/remove columns in view.

• Sorting same columns…
  .

• Tooltip/click-event for at least label column. Possible to show additional information for a line without using more screen-infrastructure

• Easier setting of scale. fromdate-todate, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, not the strange sliding ruler idea.

• …and the most optimal change - in-place edit functionality of all types in the view. Events/Workflows…

I’ve added all these points you’ve mentioned to the plugin backlog improvement list. We need to investigate how feasible it is to implement the requested features.

It’s been a while.

By this message, I would like to inform you that we have updated the plugin and added the requested features:

• The ability to remove the group during the progress hover
• The ability to hide/add some column
• The ability to sort information alphabetically in a column
• The ability to show/hide task list
• Added rescale and show/hide the clock
• The ability to change column names
• Added styling (background, text)
• Columns can be named in different languages

Please upgrade your plugin to the latest version and give it a try.
