Get google calendar events on the calendar plugin

Hi

I’m trying to be able to see the calendar events from my Google account.
I’ve set up 0Auth and it works fine.

I’m having trouble with the data calls, the documentation doesn’t explain how they work and don’t provide updated examples.

I’d be happy to learn how to make this work, specifically in the calendar plugin but also as a repeating group would be great.

Appreciate all your work

Hi @atommic,
Apologies for the late reply.

Can you please provide me with more details on which specific calendar product you are referring to? This will help me to better address your needs and ensure we are on the same page. Thank you!

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,
Gulce

Hi

I’m using this one:
Full Calendar - Bubble Docs

I wouldn’t mind building my own in a repeating group also, but I need to understand how to use the data calls.

Hi @atommic,

Unfortunately, our support services are limited to our own products. In this particular situation, I recommend posting a message or conducting a search on the official Bubble forum: https://forum.bubble.io/. The local community there is well-equipped to assist you with any queries related to Bubble.

Also, I would like to suggest you our free plugin Calendar from Google. Please check out our demo page and the editor page to see if it satisfies your needs. We have an example of how to display calendar events on a calendar and in a repeating group. Here is our demo editor page: Zeroqode-demo-22 | Bubble Editor

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,
Gulce

Hey!

Sorry I misunderstood the question.
I am using this plugin to get calendar data but I’m not sure how to display it.

I try to display it on the earlier mentioned calendar but I also would love to understand how to display it in a simple repeating group.

Hi @atommic,
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Could you please check out our demo editor page to see how to display events in a repeating group?

Here are some screenshots from our demo editor page:

Please check it and try to replicate it on your side, then see if it works. However, if you still experience the same or any other issues, it would be best to share more details, so we can better understand the problem and come back with a working solution asap.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,
Gulce

Thank you! This is helpful

I’m having trouble understanding this part:
Where did the page get the calendar_id from?

Also I’m having trouble testing your demo, as it is blocked by my google account:

Hi @atommic,

We get it from the state in our demo page:

We needed to renew our test keys, we will update the demo page asap and let you know.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,
Gulce

Hi @atommic,

We’ve fixed the issue on our demo. Please check it.

Have a good weekend!

Gulce

Hi, thank you!

This is helpful and I was able to get the list of calendars.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t see the events on the calendar itself, also with the demo file - selecting a calendar ID didn’t display the calendar events inside the calendar element.

Hi @atommic,
Sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.

Could you please share a video recording showing the issue and your entire setup? This would greatly help us understand the problem better and provide proper feedback on this.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Gulce
