Getting Started With Google Calendar Plugin

I have been trying to understand how to use the Google Calendar plugin. I am able to authenticate the user but I just don’t understand how to implement the selecting of Calendars and showing events, etc. I have been trying to learn through the demo you posted here:

But I just don’t know how it is being set-up in the background. It is possible to view the editor’s view of that demo so I can see specifically what is happening. Or is there another tutotial that I can use to help in this learning process.
