Hi, @immortal.solution.kn!

Thank you for reaching out! Sorry for delay replying here.

Let me give you some insights that might help. So, to make GIF from several images please make certain steps (the following images are only for illustration purpose):

  1. Create in “Data type” new field (on my screenshot is called “Test”: https://prnt.sc/ss5y9b )

  2. Upload the images in tab “App data”: https://prnt.sc/ss5xlw

  3. In the tab “Workflow” press "Create Gif AboutGif ", after that make changes in the filed “Images(Image Mode)”: Search for (choose created field in point 1: https://prnt.sc/ss6dly) Image.

  4. In the filed “Dynamic link” do the same changes as at the point 3:

  5. To make gif image colored please indicate “1” in the “Saturate” filed: https://prnt.sc/ss5zzr

  6. In the tab “File manager” you can see saved gifs: https://prnt.sc/ss6146 .

If you have any additional questions, please let me know!

Hi, @Julia
Great Thanks for telling me how to make GIF.
I understand.

but how about saving into a database?
I want to save created GIF file to a database and make it be available downloaded to user’s devise.

And, I worried about an error which is happened because the “Attach To” input is empty.

Hi, @immortal.solution.kn!

Seems like a bug with saving Gif into a database. We’ll check this and be back with an update on the matter asap.

If you are facing an error which is not related to the saving GIF into a database, then could you please describe a bit more about error. Screenshots, steps to reproduce it will be very helpful.

Regards, Julia!

Hi, @immortal.solution.kn!

We have fixed this bug, please install the plugin’s latest version, refresh the browser and give it another try.

Let me give you some guide how to save created GIF (the following images are only for illustration purpose):

  1. Create a new data type: https://prnt.sc/strfmg
  2. Create a custom event -> create a new thing and choose type “CH” -> test= AboutaGIF A’s New Url : https://prnt.sc/strgj2
  3. After you created a GIF add the second step to schedule the custom event for 2 sec: https://prnt.sc/stsj9u , https://prnt.sc/sts120 .
  4. All created GIF will be saved into database: https://prnt.sc/sts218 .

I’m afraid this plugin has no action to download: https://prnt.sc/sts8p0 . Anyway I can advice you to look at Easy File Downloader plugin for that purpose: https://bubble.io/plugin/easy-file-downloader-1530003531565x577933986996682800 .

hi @Julia !
I made an app with your told steps.
I noticeed that it taks tens of seconds to complete “Create Gif AboutaGIF” action.
It depends on the numbre of images we want to combine into a gif.
This is not a big problem, but when I try to save gif into a database, it become trouble, because the gif file can’t be saved.
So, I tried that when I push “create gif button”, the action of Create Gif AboutaGIF start, and after I confirm that the action finish, I push the “save into the database button”.

This work flow prorperly work.
BUT, this is not an app what I want to realize, I want user to make their original gif smoothlywith one action.

Do you have any idea to make better UX design?

Hi, @immortal.solution.kn!

I’m afraid we cannot provide the exact solution to this matter. This is the way the plugin works. The gif cannot be saved into the database until it is completed. The creating timing also depends on the image quantity as well as on the working of the entire application. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Best, Julia.

hi @Julia
I am sorry I had overlooked the event trigger which this plugin provides.
I can make after flow action with using “About a gif a upload successful”
I could solve my issue.

Thank you for your kind!

Hi, @Julia
Thank you too, so much.
OK, I’ll review this plugin later.

Thank you very much

Best Regards, Julia.

I am using a gifcropper called Gifify to create high quality gifs from videos existing on my phone. It mostly works well, however, the shortcut leaves a row of white pixels at the bottom of the gif which is annoying.

Is there a set of actions to remove the bottom row of pixels in a gif? Or, is there any other way to convert videos from my phone to high resolution and frame rate gifs?

Help is much appreciated.

Hi @bilalkk03455,
Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the late reply due to the weekend.

I’ve carefully tested the GIF Maker / Converter Plugin, but unfortunately, I couldn’t reproduce the issue you have reported. Would it be convenient for you to provide more screenshots with details of your setup, and the elements you are using?
If you have you placed the plugin element inside a group or a repeating group? The border might be of the outer group as its referring to the style properties.

Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
