Hope someone could assist, i have installed the Google Drive (Service Account) plugin and added the authentication and all seems fine now with the plugin, had issues with the key but sorted it was just formating. So in my app i want the ability for users to upload a CV and for the CV to save directly in my exsisting Google Drive Folder, which i can access through the UI online. It would be helpful if i can rename the file at upload and save in a specific folder structure, say YYYY/MM/ etc. I also want to save a link to the document in the bubble app for access. Is this acheivable with this plugin or have i bought the wrong one ? I am trying to follow the example, but it doesnt touch on any of these topics and i am unaware of how to specify which folder to save the documents to, any help would be appreciated been at this for weeks now? If there is an alternative way please advise. Thanks Again, Scott
Hi @scott.lowe, thanks for reaching out and for your suggestions.
Kindly note that a shared drive is an organizational structure within Google Drive that lives parallel to My Drive. You can organize an individual file within a shared drive or in My Drive but not both. For more details please visit this page: Dateien und Ordner | Google Drive | Google Developers
Regretfully, the current plugin functionality doesn’t allow that. Still, I’ve added this request to the possible plugin improvements plan, so the developer team will check how feasible would be to add it in future plugin updates.
To get the link of the saved file, you can use the Get file info
data call, webContentLink state:
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there are any other plugin-related questions.
