HELP Air Calendar Recurring events

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for a way to setup recurring events on my air calendar plugin.

User case :
I want to setup events for every Monday of this month.
I can edit all of them at the same time/delete them at the same time.

In fact, exactly like in google calendar.

I saw this in the plugin description :

But haven’t found nothing about how to setup recurring events on the documentation.

I saw another plugin related to recurring events made from you guys, but I don’t know if there’s maybe another way to do it in the Air Calendar Plugin ?

Do someone knows the answer ?

Thank you very much for your time guys !

Hello @kaydevfr,

Thank you for reaching out, and we apologize for the delayed response over the weekend.

Yes, we have previously introduced the “Recurring Events” feature in the Air Calendar. To make use of it, you will need to add two new fields to the events table in your database. The first is a “yes/no” field to indicate whether an event is recurring, and the second is a “List of texts” field where you will list the weekdays when the recurring event will appear. For the interval, you will need to use the Start date and End date, where the data will indicate period and time the timeframe for when the event will occur.

Below are images that illustrate the setup process for creating recurring events:

The following image provides a glimpse of how a calendar looks with a scheduled recurring event:

Additionally, a new state, “date recurring event”, has been added to help you fetch the date of a specific recurring event. We’ve also included an event, “recurring event is clicked”, which activates only when interacting with a recurring event.

Please let us know if everything is clear or if you have any questions or difficulties setting this up.

Thank you once again, and I look forward to your reply.

Best regards,
Stefan

Hello @Stephan !

Thank you very much for your help, I just got home from vacations and set up everything you told me.
Was very helpful and I have a new question :

I can’t find the “Days of week” field in my Air Calendar element.

Here’s a screenshot of the version of the plugin I’m on and my Air Calendar element :

I searched for the field in all the element fields, but still can’t find it.

I also checked the demo editor to see if I had to enable another parameter in the element to show the field “Days of the week” but everything was the same except I don’t see that field in my element.

If you need other resources or a loom I’m here to provide them

Thank you very much for your time and all the help you provide !

Hello @kaydevfr,

Thank you for your message and the update.

The “Days of Week” field is not appearing because it requires a “List of Texts” type field to be present in the database table first, so it could be linked to in the element.

Could you please try adding such a field to the database and let me know if that resolves the issue?

Thank you again, and I look forward to your response.

Best regards,
Stefan

Thanks for the clarifications !

I made a list of option sets, that’s why it didn’t showed up.

It’s working right now

Thank you again for your help Stephan !
