Help getting started with editing the Headstart dashboard

This is my first time using a template in Bubble, and I’m embarrassingly at a loss at how to edit the Dashboard page – e.g., how to change the elements on the page to create the dashboard page in my dreams.

When I go to the page in Bubble, I thought that I would see the same elements that I see in the Preview or Demo. However, it’s blank with the exception of words along the left hand side.

I’m sure that this a newbie mistake. But how do I begin editing the contents of the page? I’d really appreciate your feedback!

@pricem have you tried the lessons at https://bubble.io/lessons

You can double click an element to edit it and when the popup window opens up you can click around to get familiar. Also, scroll through the popup window and click reveal in the element tree to see all the elements (visible/hidden). Do complete the lesson, it is very helpful; read along

Thank you, @AlexaAnne – I appreciate it. I’ve actually taken all of the lessons, and built something from scratch which is why I’m scratching my head. This is what I see when I look at the template page:

The elements were hidden! I figured it out…I had to go to the Elements tree and unhide the elements. Egg on face.

Glad you figured it out. Some elements are hidden and you can check to show it on load or set a condition of when to show the element.
