when do you think this will be updated? Would really make a difference if the text changes upon hovering so users know its clickable without saying “click here”
Unfortunately, I can’t provide you with an approximate timeframe for fixing this feature due to the overload of our developers.
I will do my best to speed up the process.
I will check if it would be possible additionally with verifying the hovering of the element.
I will let you know once will have any feedback from the developer’s side.
Thank you for your understanding.
It’s kind of embarrassing that you worked on this product and started selling it but didn’t provide the basic necessities needed for UX. Great UI though…
I need to note that currently, Bubble platform is constantly making new changes to the editor and its functionality, so some basic functions may not work/work not the same way as before.
It changes all the time, so it’s not always possible to trace the appearance of the problem.
I understand your feelings, but the plugin is working properly and performs advertised functionality, thus, I can’t agree that temporary issue with the hovering of the element could decrease a real functionality and importance of this product
From our side, we are doing all the best to fix the issues at the nearest time. Thanks for your patience!
I will revert to you with an update ASAP.
The basic functionality of changing the text color is pretty important for users to know that an element is clickable. This also includes the functionality of changing the mouse cursor, again, so a user knows something is clickable, which the uploaded DOES NOT provide.
As of the current time (October 20th, 2022) the multi uploader Does not provide the basic functionalities mentioned above. Therefor the product is mediocre and other no-code builders should be aware of this issue.
Thank you for understanding the importance of UX within an App.
Hello, @JayyyTeee
I’m sorry to hear your feedback.
The main functionalities of the plugin are uploading the files to different storages ( Bubble storage, Uploadcare, Filestack, or Microsoft Azure). Additionally, it supports live preview, image/file size limits, file type, and much more.
And I need to note that these features are workable.
The hover was not intended by default for certain types of elements, like this one. Thus, we need just a bit of time for checking it.
Thus, I really sorry to hear your feedback and read it on the Bubble Marketplace, since I know that you
left this review there. However, I noted that we are working on fixing the issue with the element hovering. Our developers are looking into this already.
User experience is really important to us and we are striving to work on each issue in a really quick manner.
Unfortunately, this plugin doesn’t have to change the cursor and it wasn’t mentioned in the plugin description or documentation.
I will revert to you with an update once this plugin will be deployed. Hope that after that, you will change your thoughts and review.
Looks like we have different standards to how something should function within a product. Again, UX is very very important to any app/website. I do not know a single website/app that doesn’t do the things mentioned in my last reply.
I will be open to changing my review if the features mentioned are implemented into the uploader, otherwise, I will keep the review so others know about the missing functionalities.
I completely understand your feelings, that’s why I started an investigation with our development team once received your request.
All these features will be implemented ASAP.
Just for adding more details here, we haven’t had any requests regarding changing a mouse cursor for this plugin ever. It was not described anywhere at all and it was not implemented from the beginning
I will revert to you with an update.
Best regards,
With that statement I’m assuming zeroqode* is not going to implement such “features”, which is fine but I’d like to know so I can move on and find another source.
Through this message, I would like to notify you that we updated the plugin per your request.
Now, the element and its area could be hovered and you can change its color:
Much much better. Users will now be inclined to understand that it is a clickable element. Updated the review within the plugin page, hopefully that helps with additional customers for the plugin.
