How to display one item per page in conjure pdf PRO

Hello,

I am trying to generate a PDF report using the PDF Conjurer Pro plugin, but I am facing an issue with repeating structures.

My data structure:

  • Maintenance Plan → Contains a List of Assets.

My current setup in the plugin:

  1. Start Repeating Structure
  • Name: plan
  • How Many Structures: Repeating Group Maintenace Plans's Assets:count
  1. Add Text on PDF Model
  • Text: Repeating Group Maintenance Plans Assets formatted as text (this asset's name)
  1. End Repeating Structure

Problem:

I need each asset to appear on a separate page, but instead, all assets are being displayed in a single line on the same page.

Question:

How can I modify my workflow to ensure that each asset appears on a new page instead of being listed in a row?

Regarding your issue with the PDF Conjurer Pro plugin, if you’re trying to display each asset on a new page instead of having all assets on the same page, here’s what you can try:

Workaround Ideas:

  1. Use “Repeating Structure” Properly:
  • The Repeating Structure in PDF Conjurer Pro generates content for each item in your list. However, it doesn’t automatically create page breaks. To ensure each asset starts on a new page, you can try adding a Text Element with a Page Break at the end of each item in the repeating structure, manually triggering a new page by adding extra space or elements (like blank lines or empty elements) after each asset. This helps to push the next asset onto a new page.

  1. Control Layout with Grouping:
  • For each asset, you can adjust how it is grouped. This could be done by using the Repeating Group in Bubble to display each asset, and then within the PDF model, ensure that each asset is placed in a new group/section. You can experiment with layout adjustments (like ensuring enough space between items) to prevent them from clustering on the same page.
  1. Adjust “How Many Structures” Field:
  • In your current setup, you’re using Repeating Group Maintenance Plans’s Assets:count for “How Many Structures.” While this is technically correct, you could experiment with the layout and structure of the content within the PDF model, ensuring that the size and positioning of each asset fit properly, avoiding them being laid out in a single line.

From what I see, the issue is likely due to how the text is being processed inside the repeating structure. Right now, it looks like the entire list of names is being displayed as a single text block rather than iterating over individual items.

Possible Fix:

  1. Ensure the repeating structure iterates correctly
  • In the “Start Repeating Structure” step, double-check that the “How many structures” field correctly reflects the number of assets.
  1. Adjust the “Create Text” step
  • Instead of using rg_5_pmc's List of 5 pmcs: each item's equipamento's name, try referencing only one item at a time:
Current cell's equipamento's name
  • This ensures that each asset is processed separately.
  1. Force a page break after each item
  • The “Page break: After” option should work, but if it doesn’t, try adding an empty text element right after each asset and setting “Page break: After” on that instead.
