I have a question about the plugin “Image and compressor uploader”
My client would need to get the EXIF of the original picture even when the picture is compressed, right now I saw that it erased the EXIF when the picture is compressed.
Is there a way to keep this EXIF even if it’s compressed ?

I tried to test it on the demo page, but when I download the picture, the EXIF is empty or replaced by current date/time
Do you have additionnal informations on how can I get the EXIF back,
Did the devs added a field for that in the response of a compressed file ?

Our team checked how the plugin works after the update, and EXIF is now saved as it should be. No problems were found.
You can check it in this video.
Also,if you need to upload files, the plugin is not designed for this purpose. As a workaround, you can use the following: https://exif.tools/

I follow up this ticket because recently I checked few uploaded pictures on the plugin,
But can’t see the EXIF informations as before

I carefully tested our plugin on the plugin demo page, and everything works as it should. The EXIF date appears when you download the photo.
To see it, you need to upload your photo to the plugin, then download it to your computer and go to “Properties” to see all the necessary information. (This is for Windows).
On a Mac, there is an icon with the letter i.
Try it and let me know if it works for you.
