Heads-up: An Important Update is Coming!

We’re excited to announce some upcoming changes to the Waveform Audio Player #soundcloud plugin 
A decision has been made to update the version of the library used for the plugin, as current library version is a bit outdated, and we’ve been working hard to update it and make the necessary hanges.
The new version should be released soon with the updated library, but we want to inform you that the previous element and actions will be deprecated. This means that if you plan to update the plugin on your side, you’ll need to redo the plugin element and actions.
We’ve tried to keep the same functionality as the previous library version, so setting up the new element should be straightforward and similar to the previous one.
One important change to note is regarding the “Only download on start” feature. If your page uses multiple waveform elements, you’ll know that turning this feature on and providing the peak files will make the waveform show and the file load only when the “Start” action is triggered. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible due to a deprecated method in the library. Now, when you turn on this feature and provide the peak files, the song files will also have to load because of the current method in the library.
