Is there a way to configure ClickSend Done Right to send from a shared number

I am using the ClickSend Done Right plugin in Bubble to send SMS, and I would like it to use a shared number for international SMS. However, when I use the Send SMS (Action) workflow, and leave the FROM field empty, the message is sent from a null number instead of a shared number.

How do I tell the plugin to use a shared number?

Thanks!

Hi @Miro,

Thank you for getting in touch with us! I appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention.

I’ve performed a quick test of the plugin and can confirm the behavior you’ve described. I’ve already forwarded your request to our development team for further investigation. Once they’ve had a chance to look into it, I’ll provide you with an update on their findings.

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us here or at support@zeroqode.com.

Wishing you a joyful New Year! :tada::hugs:

Hello @Miro,

I’ve had a discussion with our developer to clarify the behavior you’ve encountered. It appears that in the API call for SMS sending, the “from” field must always be filled; otherwise, it defaults to a “null” number. You have the flexibility to populate it not only with a phone number but also with an 11-digit alphanumeric name or your personal phone number.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us here or via email at support@zeroqode.com.

Wishing you a fantastic start to 2024! :dragon:

Thank you for your reply.
We were able to fix the issue after so many trials and errors.

In case anyone else is having the same issue, the way we were finally able to do it is by adding a space character in the FROM field to make it default to the shared number in ClickSend.

Hello @Miro,

We truly appreciate you sharing this valuable information. It will be beneficial for others, especially those looking to use a shared number too

I will ask the developers to include this information in the plugin’s description to make it more accessible to all users.

Thank you once again for your contribution. If you have any further questions regarding our plugins, please don’t hesitate to contact us either here on the forum or via email at support@zeroqode.com.

Wishing you a fantastic week ahead :hugs:

You’re welcome, @dorel!
One more question: Is it possible to configure the plugin so that users can enter their own ChatGPT API keys at runtime, instead of configuring it in the plugin page with a single API key?

Hi @Miro,

Just to confirm, are we currently discussing the OpenAI plugins? The keys in the plugins tab are static, meaning you need to input your OpenAI keys for users to utilize it. Users are unable to input their own keys to be able to use the plugin on your page.

If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time!

Cheers :hugs:
