Issue with Image Compress & Uploader Plugin

Works great for the most part and I’m thankful for it.

The problem I’m having is when running the Select & Compress workflow action on mobile the user is prompted to enter any kind of file. An image, video or browse the phone and choose anything. This could be confusing for users as attaching anything other than an image isn’t going to work.

The normal picture uploader works great in that regard, it prompts to either browse images stored on the phone or take a picture from the camera, not allowing videos. But it can’t resize or compress.

Hopefully this can be fixed without a lot of effort.

From what I’ve observed, the plugin seems to compress images without being limited to a specific file type, and this applies to desktop uploads as well.

I’ve initiated an investigation and requested our development team to explore if we can add a feature or condition in the plugin to define the specific file types for upload.

I will keep you updated with any progress or feedback from their side.

I’d like to tell you that we have successfully addressed this concern and updated the plugin to version 3.20.
Now the plugin allows uploading only images. :slight_smile:

Please update the plugin inside your app to the latest version and let us know if everything works as expected.
