I’m using Link Preview to display link image, title etc in a user’s post. I have a URL input that is used to generate the preview, and the user then clicks “Post” is execute the workflow to make a post. For some reason, if I leave the URL input blank, the workflow encounters a temporary bug. But when I remove the field from the workflow where I am capturing the API content, the workflow executes perfectly and the post is made.

Kindly note this error message is not related to our plugin functionality as in that case, you would have received a console error, what you are experiencing is a general error message from Bubble. It can apply to a workflow timeout and a backend uncaught error, etc.
We recommend you check your Logs and report any findings you have to the Bubble Support Team you can reach them at support@bubble.io.
