Map markers completely break my page layout — need help

Hi Zeroqode team,

I’m reporting an issue with your PDF generation plugin that is blocking an essential feature in my app.

The issue:

When a map is displayed without markers, the PDF is generated correctly and the layout stays stable.

But as soon as the map loads markers, your PDF plugin breaks the entire layout during generation:

  • groups stretch
  • responsive structure collapses
  • elements shift outside their boundaries
  • the final PDF becomes unusable

This only happens during PDF generation, not when viewing the page normally.

So the problem seems to come from the way your plugin captures or processes the map element when markers are present.

What I’ve already tried:

  • Bubble’s native map element
  • Several map plugins
  • Different groups, fixed width tests, overflow settings, etc.
  • Loading markers with a delay
  • Rendering the map fully before generating the PDF
  • I also tested other PDF plugins, but yours is the one that fits my workflow

However, the issue only happens when using your PDF generator.

Why this matters:

I need to generate Local SEO reports with maps showing multiple markers (audit grids, positions, etc.).

I cannot remove the markers, as they are essential for my clients.

What I need from you:

Please review the rendering engine of the plugin and adjust how it handles map elements with markers.

The map works normally.

The layout works normally.

The problem appears only when your plugin generates the PDF.

There seems to be a conflict between the plugin’s rendering method and the Google Maps marker layer.

Can you please investigate and fix this?

It’s currently blocking report generation for my clients.

Thanks in advance.

Hi rgastout,

Thanks for the detailed description of the map marker issue in your PDF reports. To pinpoint the exact fix and give you copy-paste-ready code, I’ll need a few quick details from your Bubble editor.

Please reply with:

  • The name and version of the PDF plugin you’re using (check the Plugins tab).
  • Screenshots of the PDF element’s settings.
  • Screenshots of the map element’s layout settings.
  • Screenshots of the full PDF generation workflow.

Once I have these, I’ll review your setup and try to reproduce it on my end, to investigate it closer.

Looking forward to your reply!
